Age Diverse Management Course:
Free Accredited Training for Managers

Age Inclusive Ltd in partnership with SFEDI and Ingeus are proud to have developed the UK's first accredited training course in relation to managing an age diverse workforce.

Funded by the European Social Fund and the Skills Funding Agency, attendance on the course is currently availble, free of charge, to HR and Operational Managers in North East England organisations with under 250 employees, including:

·         Private sector companies such as manufacturing, engineering, distribution, retail, health and social care.

·         Sole traders, including Business Consultants and Advisors

·         Charities and voluntary sector organisations

·         Independent schools and Academies.

Background

A massive demographic change is underway across Europe resulting in a substantial shift in the proportion of older workers, many of whom are remaining in work far beyond the traditional retirement age. At the same time, the need for more apprentices and for better skills transfer and training has never been more urgent than it is today.

The course is designed to help managers better understand their role in leading their staff through these changing times and to consider the best ways to ensure great working relationships between all their employees, whatever their age.

What is the course about?

This unique course involves attendance at a full day workshop in Sunderland, Newcastle or Durham, followed by the completion of a comprehensive workbook, packed with ideas and information on demographic change, generational differences and keeping within the law.

Delegates to the course will gain:

·         Practical insights related to the issues and opportunities associated with managing an age diverse workforce

·         The skills to assess age diversity issues in your business

·         A tailored action plan for managing age diversity in your business

·         Access to expert advice and tools.

What are the criteria to join the course for FREE?

To be able to engage with this new and innovative programme you must:
